Ramadan Zaza is an initiative by the Picha Project to honour their departed Chef Zaza's last wish to cook and donate meals to the needy during the Ramadan period. As such, every voucher purchased results in 300 meal boxes being donated to families and individuals as fast-breaking meals. Meanwhile, the proceeds earned provides income to the refugee families that cook the meals and helps sustain The Picha Project. The Picha Project is an impact-driven enterprise that empowers refugees in Malaysia through a sustainable food catering and delivery business. Currently, they are working with 10 refugee families from Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Myanmar, allowing them to earn a livelihood through cooking.
